Virtual Internet Connectivity
Utilize our shared, resilient high-speed connections to the Internet to access your servers. Ascent Data has three high-bandwidth fiber connections to the Internet via multiple Tier 1 Internet Service Providers, so there is no need to provide your own ISP connectivity.

With redundant connections and BGP alternate routing, you can get the most reliable connection to the Internet and beyond – all backed by our SLA100 availability guarantee. You will always have the bandwidth you need, but only pay for what you use. For increased security, Ascent Data’s network team can implement secure encrypted VPNs.

Virtual Managed Firewall
The Virtual Managed Firewall from Ascent Data provides highly secure protection for Internet connectivity, without the need to purchase hardware and software. It also eliminates the need for security updates, which are included in the service. Our certified security team can maintain, mange, and monitor your Firewall environment, saving you money and freeing up time for your staff.

Virtual Disk-to-Disk Backup
Protect your data and eliminate the hassle of tape backup with Ascent Data’s Disk-to-Disk Backup System. Your applications and servers are backed up for hard drive failure protection, just as if they were going to tape, by using an offline Ethernet network. Our disk-to-disk system performs faster and more reliably than tape, allowing your applications to restart faster and eliminating the expense of tape drives and tapes.

Ascent Data de-duplicates the data at its backup location for the most efficient storage possible. If you still desire offsite storage for additional protection, your data can be written to tape offline. We can manages the service on your behalf with an offsite storage vendor.

Virtual Remote Disk-to-Disk Backup
Utilize the latest in backup technology with Ascent Data Virtual Remote Disk-to-Disk Backup. This new technology takes advantage of the latest de-duplication and compression technologies at the source of the data, allowing you to back up the most data with the least amount of Wide Area Network bandwidth. This enables site-to-site replication for Disaster Recovery needs for core data centers, and is also ideal for remote/branch offices.

Virtual Remote Disk-to-Disk Backup helps you meet compliance and audit requirements. Combined with our Virtual Server product, it allows you to implement a total “Warm Site” or “Hot” Site Disaster Recovery plan that costs less time and money than ever.

Virtual Server from Ascent Data enables you to create instances of servers without purchasing hardware. Add Virtual Instances based upon the processor speed, memory, and storage requirements. Your operating systems and applications do not have to be modified, and your systems will run on our virtual server with guaranteed performance and security.
