The Children's Home Café Night – Coordinated by Ascent Data

Parents, families and staff at the Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center enjoyed a break from it all at a café night, coordinated by Ascent Data. Attendees enjoyed coffee and pastries courtesy of Oakmont Bakery and chair massages by Becky Celender, a Licensed Massage Therapist from The Pittsburgh Center for Health and Healing.

RIDC Business Alliance

Ascent Data is an active member and was instrumental in the formation of the RIDC Business Alliance group in 2010. The group consists of corporate business members in RIDC Park, O’Hara Township. Through the RIDC Alliance, members network and work together for advocacy, quality of environment and group-purchasing power.

As Senior VP and CIO at Peoples Natural Gas, Ruth DeLost-Wylie led her team through the design and implementation of 72 systems in less than 18 months along with the creation of the supporting infrastructure - including voice and data networks. Ruth was responsible for hiring an entirely new IT staff, the development of requirements for every business process, the coordination of design, coding and testing, and the selection and control of numerous vendors and service providers.
