Ascent DataColo
Colocation and Cyber Security

Secure physical space. Uninterruptible power systems and
generator backup. Overseen by a highly trained staff 24 x 7.

Benefits of Colocation

Many businesses are choosing colocation in order to avoid the expense, waiting time and headaches of building their own site and systems. Colocation means, simply, physically placing your company's own server at an Ascent Data location — a facility where industry-best security, infrastructure and physical space requirements are already in place.

With Ascent DataColo, your company uses its own server on our reliable, redundant, high-speed network. We offer two options for co-location: managed and non-managed. With either option, your company takes advantage of Ascent Data’s infrastructure, security, and personnel — and avoids the expenses and headaches associated with building a similar facility on your own site.

Booz Allen "didn't implement continuous daily monitoring and a mitigation program, and they didn't implement a a strong 'hunter' program" to identify potential threats before they cause damage to the computer systems, said Alan Paller, director of research at SANS Institute, a nonprofit cybersecurity research organization in Bethesda. "They do that for a very small number of their clients, but don't seem to have enough people with the right skills to do it for themselves." Read more. . .
