Ascent Data has been through an in-depth audit of their information technology processes, procedures and controls. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) auditing regulations identify the Type II SAS 70 audit report as the only acceptable substitute for an auditor performing their own first-hand testing of a service organization’s controls. Ascent Data clients benefit by passing along the internal controls and security they receive at Ascent Data to their own customers who require SAS 70 certification.

SLA100
Ascent Data pays aggressive penalties to its clients if they fail to provide power and bandwidth for colocation and managed services at 100 percent of scheduled monthly availability. Ascent Data takes reliability seriously and will prove it by paying one hour of the monthly charge for each minute of outage, up to a maximum of the total monthly charge.
