Sales Representative - Pittsburgh, PA
Ascent Data's Professional Services practice is currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our expanding staffing and recruiting business. Our consultative approach to staffing has evolved over many years and is rooted in building strong relationships with our clients and our consultants. Essential Functions:
- Sell a wide range of IT staffing services to new and existing customers
- Maintain high volume of cold calling and face-to-face customer meetings on a daily and weekly basis
- Schedule and conduct 3-5 face-to-face client meetings per week
- Close 2-3 placements per month
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to generate, identify, and source qualified leads
- Builds strong professional relationships with key prospects/clients
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts
- Prepares services quotes for existing and prospective customers.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Specifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling IT Staffing services in a range of technologies including ERP, Java, .net, Networking, Mainframe, Business Analysis, Project Management, etc.
- Experience selling contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working in a highly effective, fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrates creative problem solving skills, dedication to excellence and the entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be extremely disciplined and able to work independently
- Bachelors degree preferred
